Freestyle-TZ: Foi uma grande surpresa você ganhar o prêmio de novato do ano?
Maikel Melero: Sim, eu estou realmente feliz por este prêmio!

FTZ: 2011 foi um grande ano para você, mas o que você acha sobre isso?
MM: Eu quero treinar mais, este ano eu quero mais manobras.
FTZ: O que você espera para 2012?
MM: Eu espero ter mais oportunidade no Red Bull X-Fighters e mais pódios no Night of the Jumps.
 
FTZ: O que você diria para os novatos?
MM: Sejam fortes ...

FTZ: Dê-nos uma dica para um bom treino ...
MM: Dedicação, muito esforço

FTZ: Conte-nos mais sobre o seu treino.
MM: Eu treino todos os dias. Não faço academia... ando muito de moto e bicicleta

Maikel Melero: Yes I’m really happy for this price!

MM: I want more train, this year I want more tricks.

FTZ: What are you waiting for 2012?
MM: I hope have more opportunity in Red Bull X-Fighters and podiums in Night of the Jumps.

FTZ: What do you say for the rookies?
MM: Be strong…

MM: Dedication, a lot effort

MM: I train every day. I don’t go to the gym… I ride a lot with bike and bicycle.
