Night of the Jumps - RIGA

Este final de semana foi muito intenso no Night of the Jumps, etapa Riga.

Com o final do verão e a volta do campeonato em sua 8ª rodada, os fãs foram ao delírio e empurraram mais um dia de campeonato. E o NOTJ mais uma vez fez o que prometeu, um espetáculo digno de muita adrenalina, manobras radicais e suspense!

Josh Sheehan mais uma vez provou seu talento, com manobras alucinantes, porém devido a seu ombro lesionado precisou retirar de sua rotina a manobra Heelclicker 360. Com isso cravou uma pontuação que o deixou em 3º lugar.

Remi Bizouard retirou todas suas melhores manobras da cartola como: Ruler Flip, Cliffhanger Flip, SwitchBalde Flip, Ruler Tsunami entre outras. Mas os juizes não foram tão bondosos e deram a vitória a Javier Villegas.

This weekend was very intense in the Night of the Jumps, Riga step.

Mark é australiano, tem 28 anos e é praticante de motocross freestyle. E o ano de 2011 vem sendo um ano extraordinário. Devido a sua coragem, superação e audácia fizeram com que se tornace mundialmente famoso! Por que?

Bem Mark Monea foi um dos primeiros nomes do FMX a executar o frontflip. Mas o primeiro a treinar a manobra de uma forma mais conhecida como o 360º FRONTFLIP ou "Carry On". E o primeiro a executá-la no Nitro Circus Tour.

A Ford lança a um novo conceito em bikes...

Inpirada pela F1 (Formula 1) a E-Bike recebe este nome devido a um motor elétrico que vai na roda posterior, dando assim uma forcinha nas subidas com a magrela! A velocidade máxima é de 25km/h e tem autonomia máxima de 85km por carga.

Já sua corrente é algo inovador, sai a velha corrente de metal e entra no lugar uma correia de carbono. Onde ao pedalar você passa a recarregar a bateria do motor frontal!

E para os geeks aficcionados por esportes, o novo conceito em bike possui um Smartphone acoplado ao centro do guidão. Informando GPS, distância percorrida, mapas de estradas, etc... Basta fazer um download de algum app relacionado a bikes que vc terá um computador de bordo com diversas utilidades até mesmo indicando as calorias perdidas ou lhe mostrando o treino a ser seguido!

É isso aí Ford, lançando mais uma inovação, tomara que esta moda pegue e se popularize...

Jump Festival

O Jump Festival é um evento esportivo realizado por XYZ Live em parceria com a CBER (Confederação Brasileira de Esportes Radicais).

Localizado junto ao ginásio do Ibirapuera o evento contará com apresentações especiais de atletas como Sandro Dias e a maior lenda do SK8 (skate) Tony Hawk.

Tony Hawk possui 12 títulos mundiais e também é conhecido por suas hábeis manobras como o 900 (manobra dificílima) e o Mc Hawk (720 ainda hoje considerada difícil). Confiram a manobra que deu o titulo de best trick nos X-Games de 1999:

O evento contará com as modalidades de SK8, BMX e FMX (freestyle motocross)! A final do Freestyle Motocross acontecerá no sábado (08/10/11) e a mega apresentação do ídolo Tony Hawk será no domingo (09/10/11).

O Freestyle-TZ teve acesso as preparações da pista de SK8 vert e BMX que estão o máximo, a pista de BMX está o máximo e promete muita manobra radical.

The Jump Festival is a sporting event held by XYZ Live in partnership with BCES (Brazilian Confederation of Extreme Sports).

Located close to the Ibirapuera Gymnasium the event will feature special performances of athletes like Sandro Dias and greatest legend of SK8 (skate) Tony Hawk.

Tony Hawk has 12 world titles and is also known for his skillful maneuvers such as a 900 (extremely difficult move) and Mark Hawk (720 still considered difficult). Check out the move that gave the title of best trick at the X-Games 1999:
